Campus
What is the student Campus?
Campus is the online area available to all registered students, for information and programme resources and assistance with any problems or questions connected with qualifications and examinations.
All of the information you will need regarding your programme is on Campus, just click on My Programme from the main menu, then the qualification you are studying. Within the section for your programme you will find Student Resources (including Programme Handbook, Revision Notes and Student Notes), Assignments (including Past assignments and Past Exam Papers) and Frequently Asked Questions.

How do I get my password?
Once you have registered with your Centre, and all formalities have been completed (including the transfer of fees from your Centre), you will be registered on the system at Head Office. Your User ID (student ID number) will be given to you by your centre. Your password will be sent to you by email.
How do I change my password?
When you login to Campus using your existing password, you are given an option to change it if you wish on the My Details page. Follow the instructions on the screen to change your password.
How do I get into the student Campus?
Once you have registered with your Centre, and all formalities have been completed (including the transfer of fees from your Centre), you will be registered on the system at Head Office. Your student ID number will be given to you by your centre.
Your password is sent to you by separate email (please check your junk folders too, in case it has been diverted)
If you then follow the instructions in the automatically generated email, you should now be able to log in and enjoy all the benefits of Campus.
If you are unable to log in using the information given, please contact Student Services who will be able to assist you. When contacting Student Services on any matter please ensure that you always provide your Student ID number, the full name in which you registered, the course you are studying and the name of your centre. This will assist in a speedy reply to your enquiry.
I’ve lost or forgotten my password, what do I do?
If you have lost or forgotten your password you can retrieve your password on the Login page. Click on "Lost or Forgotton Password." If you are unable to retrieve your password in this way you can alternatively contact student.services@nccedu.com. When doing this please ensure that you provide the full name in which you registered, your Student ID number, your programme of study and your centre. This will speed up our reply to you.
Student Services will then be able to supply you with a new password with which to log in to Campus.
How do I get my student ID number?
Once you have completed registration at your Centre, they will give you your student ID number. This number is unique to you, and will remain your number for as long as you study for a particular qualification. If you continue to study for a further qualification the ID number will change when registration is completed for a different qualification.

How can I find a centre?
To find a centre in your region, in the first instance check the NCC Education website to find your regional office. They will be able to assist you with finding a centre in your region.
When can I start my course?
Following registration with your centre you will be advised by them of the start dates for your course.
How do I apply for a programme?
Once you have decided the programme you wish to study and the centre where you wish to do it, contact them for assistance with registration procedures.
There are no centres in my area, what do I do?
What does it cost to do one of your programmes?
The programme fees are dependent upon which programme you are studying. Your centre will be able to advise you of fees and payment methods for your programme.
How do I pay the Programme Fees?
What Financial Support is on offer?
NCC Education do not offer any kind of financial support to students, however your centre may offer a scheme for payment by instalments. Please contact your centre for further information.
Exams
I would like to resit a module I have failed, how can I do this?
If you want to resit an exam because you failed it or because you did not get as good a result as you hoped, you will need to contact your centre in the first instance.
The centre will then contact NCC Education to advise that you wish to resit.
A charge will be made for resitting an exam, your centre will be able to advise you of the amount charged for this.
Where can I get revision tips?
Revision Tips can be found in the Exams section of Campus, in the Revision Zone.
Where can I find Past Papers?
Past Exam papers are found on Campus in the material section of My Programme. The Global papers are uploaded for each qualification for the past year only. To access past papers for your qualification follow this pathway:
Past Papers for Local Exams are not uploaded onto Campus and are not available directly from NCC Education. If you require past papers for local exams please contact your centre for assistance.Where can I find the Marking Schemes?
NCC Education do not supply marking schemes to students either on their website or on Campus. Some centres will agree to provide these, but it is at their discretion, and you should contact them for information.
I need help with my Revision, where can I find it?
There is a dedicated section in Campus to assist you with revision and exam preparation. Please click on Campus Enhance then Revision Zone from the main menu for access to these resources.
When will my results be released?
Results are released to centres approximately 8 weeks following your exam. If results are delayed for any reason, NCC Education will post information on the website advising of this. Students should not contact NCC Education directly for results as they can only be obtained from centres.
When will the results be on the Campus?
Results are uploaded on the Campus as soon as possible after they have been released to centres.
What happens if I do not pass?
My centre has not given me study materials, what do I do?
All Authorised centres are obliged to give students study materials under their agreement with NCC Education to registered candidates.
You should approach your centre if you are having problems obtaining study materials from your tutor.
Can I do my resit at a different centre?
You may resit an exam at a different centre if you wish, however there may be a transfer fee.
My name was spelt wrongly on my certificate, what should I do?
If you find that your certificate has an incorrect spelling of your name, you should immediately contact your centre, and return the faulty certificate to them for sending to NCC Education. If the error is due to NCC Education, a replacement certificate will be issued free of charge.
At the time of registration you will have been asked to provide the name in which you wish the certificate to be issued – this is the name which will be used by NCC Education when printing certificates.
If however, the error is due to you registering in an incorrect name, a charge will be made for a replacement. No amended certificate will be issued without the return of the incorrect one.
Do I have to pay for a new certificate if I have lost my original?
A charge will be made for a replacement certificate, please contact your centre for details
When do I get my certificate?
Your certificate should be despatched by NCC Education to your centre 3 weeks after the exam results are released. If there is a delay for any reason, NCC Education will post a notice on Campus advising of this.
When are my Exam Dates?
Global Exams
Dates for Global Exams are published on Campus. Download the latest Key Dates Document
If you cannot find the information you require, your centre will be able to advise you of Global Exam dates.
Local Exam Dates
Local Exam dates vary according to region and centre, and NCC Education do not have information on these. ALL Local Exam dates must be obtained from your centre.
What is the grading structure that is used by NCC Education?
The certificate is awarded for your programme once you have achieved a pass in all the required modules. The certificate shows which major subject(s) you have passed, but does not have an overall grade shown on it.
Each individual module taken under the programme will be graded as a referral, pass, credit or distinction. This is shown on the Record of Achievement awarded at the end of your study. NCC Education does not issue the percentage results awarded to each module, nor are they published on Campus.
Your centre can advise on the grading scales for your particular programme, or alternatively refer to your programme handbook in Campus.
What do I do if I can’t take my exam?
Advance Notice of Inability to Sit Your Exam
If you know in advance that you are going to be unable to sit your exam, for a valid reason, you should contact your centre as soon as you know that you cannot sit the exam. They will be able to advise you of your options.
On Exam day – I Cannot Sit My Exam
If, on the day of your exam, you are ill, or unable to sit the exam for a valid reason (such as an emergency or bereavement), please contact your centre as soon as possible BEFORE the exam and advise them of the situation.
They will be able to offer advice on what you need to do next.
How can I apply for exemptions?
If you wish to apply for exemptions for a qualification your centre will need to supply this request in writing to NCC Education, together with copies of all details of your previous qualifications such as syllabi and certificates issued. In some cases we may already be aware of programmes where exemptions can be given, in this case the process should be short and simple.
Can I transfer to a different centre to complete my studies?
You may transfer to a different centre to complete your studies, but there may be a transfer fee to do this. Contact your centre for advice on transfer fees.
I need a duplicate transcript from NCC Education to confirm my qualifications for my University application. Where can I get one?
If you need a duplicate transcript you should ask your centre for advice. Please note that a charge will be made for a duplicate transcript.
I stopped studying for the….. 3 years ago, but need to finish a module, what do I do?
Unfortunately we do not allow candidates to continue studying any NCC Education programmes after their period of eligibility has ended. You will need to re-register as a new candidate and begin the programme again.
I have a problem with my results, who do I contact?
In the first instance, if you have a problem with results you should contact your centre. If they feel you have grounds for appeal they will guide you through the appeal process and advise you of costs for doing this.
If I do not complete my full course will I get results for the modules I have completed?
You can be given a transcript for the modules you have completed and passed, please contact your centre for advice.
What is an Open Book Exam?
An Open Book exam allows you to take notes, texts or other resource materials into an examination with you. Open Book exams test your ability to find information and apply it accordingly; they are often used for subjects requiring direct reference to written materials.
NCC Education has introduced Open Book examinations in the assessment of three modules of the International Advanced Diploma in Business:
- Technology and Organisations
- Operations Management
- Managerial Economics
What Materials Can be Used in an Open Book Exam?
NCC Education permits the use of the following materials in Open Book exams:
- Notes
- Reference materials and textbooks
- A calculator (but no other electronic devices, e.g. laptops, PDAs, mobile phones etc.)
General FAQs
Do I need to buy books for my programme?
There is no absolute requirement to buy books for your programme as your centre should be able to supply the necessary books and resources for it. However if you wish to purchase books for studying at home, a discount for some programme books is available to NCC Education students. Details of these will be in your programme Handbook.
What careers advice can you give me?
Campus has a dedicated Careers area for student use – whether you wish to continue your studies or find a job. Click on What Next in the navigation bar.
Do NCC Education offer Computing Support?
NCC Education do not offer online computing support for students, however the Technical FAQs answer the most common questions raised by students.
If your centre has a computer technician they should be able to give you assistance with computer difficulties.
I want to make a complaint – How do I do it?
NCC Education welcomes your feedback, whether it is good or bad. Complaints are an opportunity for us to improve our systems or information.
If you have a complaint you wish to make, you should either use the Contact Us section of the Campus or email Student Services at Student.Services@nccedu.com. Our student services team will endeavour to acknowledge your complaint within one working day, and give you a considered reply within 2 working days.
We also welcome your feedback on any aspect of your NCC Education, and it is of great benefit to us if you can spare some time to complete the survey on the Contact Us page.

What services are on offer for Students with Disabilities?
NCC Education actively encourage and support where possible all students with a disability. Our Disability Policy gives further information and can be found in the Personal Support section.
Actual provisions for disabled students vary according to centres, and you are advised to contact your centre for information about support for you.
NCC Education can offer Special Consideration during exams for disabled students, provided that you can provide evidence of your disability, and provided that you complete the Special Consideration Form within the specified time period to advise what assistance and support you need. Technical FAQs
What is a plug-in?
A Plug-in is a small computer program which interacts with a specific application to bring on demand output.
The Campus requires the following plug-ins for you to successfully use the entire site: Flash player, Quick Time Player, Java runtime environment (at least version 1.2, latest version recommended), Winzip and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
What is Streaming Media?
Streaming media is any kind of audio or video file that is played on your computer without the whole thing being downloaded before it starts to play. An example of a website with much streaming media is YouTube.
Why do I need to enable Cookies?
A cookie is a simple piece of data unable to perform any operation by itself. They are used within the Campus for authentication purposes only. Users need to enable cookies within their browser so that the Campus knows who they are after they login.
How can I open a PDF file?
To access a PDF file you must first have Adobe Acrobat Reader, available from Adobe website: http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/acrobat/
Once Acrobat Reader is installed, click on the link to the pdf file and it will automatically open the file using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
What is a Firewall?
A Firewall is a piece of software which acts as a barrier between a computer and the Internet. It can help to prevent malicious ‘hacking’ attacks on computers. It is recommended that every user has one on their computer and sets an appropriate trust level for connecting to the Internet. All users should have a firewall which is patched with the latest updates. E.g. McAfee.
Is Campus available all the time?
Campus aims to be available 99.9% of the time. Whenever there is a planned outage of the system it is advertised in good time on the login page of the system.
What are the minimum PC requirements for using the Campus?
- At least 512MB RAM (1GB recommended)
- Windows XP or Vista + latest service pack and all critical updates is recommended.
- Functioning Internet connection, faster than 56K is recommended
- You must subscribe to an anti-virus service and receive all updates
- You should subscribe to an anti-spyware/malware service and receive the latest updates.
I can not download a file as my Internet Connection is too slow, what can I do?
Using a download manager it is possible to download files in more manageable chunks. When using a download manager, if the Internet Connection fails it is possible to continue downloading the file from the same point as when the Internet Connection failed and you do not need to restart the download.
