MCC Yangon celebrates annual graduation
Myanmar Computer Centre, Yangon celebrated their annual graduation and awards ceremony on 30th November 2010 at the Royal Park Hotel, Yangon. Certificates were presented to the 130 students in front of proud family, friends, teachers and NCC Education staff, including the managing director Professor Felix Stravens, KevinTan and Nazlin Abdul.
20 students were awarded with the NCC Education Roll of Honour Award, this is given when the student receives a distinction. There was also one Regional High Achiever and one Global High Achiever.
Professor Felix Stravens also presented Phyu Mon Theint with a Roll of Honour certificate for the IADCS programme. She has recently graduated from two Universities – she has completed the degree pathway with a BSc(Hons) in Business Information IT awarded by the University of Greenwich, and graduated from the Yangon University of Foreign Languages, specialising in English. “Handling two Bachelor courses at the same time was such an enormous challenge, but thanks to my experiences in IDCS and IADCS I had sufficient IT knowledge to cover technical issues. The courses also allowed me to familiarise myself with the British education system. It was amazing how these language and IT skills really complement each other in everyday life.” Congratulations to all the students from MCC Yangon!
