Whilst in Malta for NCC Education’s first Europe, Middle East and South Asia Regional Conference, members of staff were invited to STC Training’s London Metropolitan University graduation ceremony.

Felix Stravens, Managing Director, NCC Education, officially opened the proceedings. He commented that graduations were a time of joy for all; students, parents, academics and guests. This graduation ceremony certainly did not disappoint! Staff members had the pleasure of meeting many proud students in their graduation gowns and mortarboards who all worked hard to obtain their qualification by following the NCC Education IT Journey. In many cases, students started with NCC Education’s International Diploma in Computer Studies (IDCS), progressing to the International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies (IADCS) before entering the third year with London Metropolitan University.

STC Training has excellent relationships with employers throughout Malta, enabling students to gain work experience in parallel to study, giving them the opportunity to put lessons learnt in the classroom into practice in the workplace. As a consequence, many of the students continue employment with those companies on graduation.

Whilst attending the graduation, staff members took the opportunity to interview a few students and their families to discover their thoughts on their NCC Education experience. One such family was Michael Camilleri (Software Engineer) and his parents, Sarah Diacono (IT Teacher) and Nicholas Formosa (Software Engineer), in addition to his partner.
