Patrick Schembri, a student of STC Training Centre, Malta is the proud owner of a Nintendo Wii, after winning the competition run by NCC Education to promote their qualifications. Creating flash animations is one of Patrick’s hobbies, a skill that he put into practice when designing the website for the reputed ‘Ta Frenc’ Restaurant in Gozo, and for numerous other business concerns on the island. Despite his relative youth, (Patrick is 20), his creativity and design capabilities landed him the role of Web Designer at CCBill EU Limited, a position that he has held for over a year.

Besides working on a full-time basis, he is currently working towards the International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies at STC Training Centre in Malta. In September 2007 Patrick won the prestigious award of ‘ Regional High Achiever’ for Europe, including the ‘NCC Roll of Honour’ award, an award offered to a student achieving above 80% overall grading in their exams. He hopes to graduate in 2010 with a Degree in Computer Studies.

Future aspirations include reading for a Masters Degree, and after gaining further work experience in the web design field, Patrick hopes to set up his own web development company.
