Luke had been interested in pursuing a career in ICT for a number of years. The choice to study an NCC Education qualification at STC Training, Malta “did not require much thought; NCC Education’s IADCS ticked all of the required boxes by being a ‘hands on’ course giving a holistic approach to computer studies.” STC Training centre adopts a ‘Learning by Doing’ approach, and encourages and assists its students to work in the industry during their studies.

Luke is currently working as a software developer for a local Maltese company, and can therefore apply his knowledge gained in a working environment. Within this role he develops software projects mainly working with C#.net, his work also entails system graphical design. His future ambitions include working in project management.

Luke feels that an NCC Education qualification “opens an infinite amount of opportunities from an educational and business perspective”. Luke has thoroughly enjoyed working alongside other students who have similar ambitions, as this allows them to share ideas and work towards common goals. He feels that this has helped him become a high achiever – “fellow students provide a valuable source of information”.
