Marnick Gatt

Marnick chose to study an NCC Education qualification, mainly due to the fact that it is well recognised by various universities, and the subjects covered in the modules, especially focussing on software programming techniques. Marnick is taking advantage of this to broaden his IT knowledge, once he is confident that this has been accomplished, he can focus more on his preferred subject – Software Programming; he would then like to complete a degree which specialises in this. Once he has completed his degree he hopes that he can combine his knowledge of industrial electronics, management and software development.

Marnick does currently work as a Technical Administration Foreman at a brewery. His organisational skills have benefitted greatly from this. He feels that NCC Education “studying material is practical and helpful to those students who do not have the opportunity to practice at their workplace.” He feels his success as a high achiever is due to continual focus on each module and study materials and practical examples provided by the lecturers. This enables one to relate such examples to everyday life, and understanding of the topic is heightened. Marnick also ensures that he keeps a fine balance with his work and social life – he enjoys playing 5 a-side football and watching English football.
