Student Awards are given 4 times a year, following the publication of exam results.
Global High Achiever
The student with the highest average mark on each programme will receive the Global High Achiever award. The Global High Achiever will receive a plaque and a gift.
Regional High Achievers
The student with the highest average marks on each programme, per region*, will receive a High Achiever award. A high achiever award will not be made in the region where the Global High Achiever has been awarded.The Regional High Achievers will each receive a certificate and a gift.
Roll of Honour
All students who receive an overall mark of 70% or higher, upon completion of their programme. These students recieve a certificate and a pin badge.
*NCC Education categorises Accredited Partner Centres into the following five regions: Europe, East Asia / Hong Kong SAR, Africa and the Caribbean, South East Asia and South Asia & the Middle East.

Hard work and application on the International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies has made Marvin Muscat the latest recipient of the NCC Education High Achievers award. Marvin, who studied for his diploma with STC Training, Malta, says the key to his success was “taking the study programme seriously, working hard and always visualising the reward”.
Marvin is passionate about IT, and chose to study the NCC Education IT pathway because it contained various interesting areas of study such as programming, networking and the web. He says, however, that the most enjoyable part of the course was “preparing the various assignments, especially in the advanced Java module, and the work performed to build and present my final project”.
As a proud graduate, Marvin also praised his centre, describing it as “equipped to give the best learning experience to the students, which includes classroom equipped with smart boards and projectors, very well equipped labs and most of all excellent lecturers”.
Marvin now works as a systems analyst at the VAT tax department, Malta.

December 2011 - IDCS
Gateway Graduate School, Sri Lanka
Congratulations go to the latest recipient of the NCC Education High Achiever Award, Shimran Ramzey of Gateway Graduate School, Sri Lanka. His excellent results and achievements on the International Diploma in Computer Studies are both a credit to himself, and to his Accredited Partner Centre, with whom he has enjoyed a fruitful affiliation since he enrolled in Gateway Kids School when only 6 years old!
Shimran was impressed with the NCC Education course material, which he believes will prepare him for a successful career in the Information Technology industry. He says; “The qualification offered by NCC Education is world recognised and the coursework is suitable for the current trends in the industry. Many of my seniors are currently employed in recognised software development companies in Columbo. Hence, I believe that the programmes offered by NCC Education are well recognised”.
He was also very keen to point out the terrific delivery of these course materials by Gateway Graduate School, describing the Centre’s facilities as “fully equipped”, “state of the art” and “very helpful”. However, the best thing Shimran found about his experience was learning with his fellow students as a group, and “sharing knowledge and experience in diverse subjects”.
The successful partnership between NCC Education and Gateway Graduate School allowed Shimran to pursue his world recognised qualification in his preferred environment; in his home country, amongst his friends and family. He has clearly flourished in this environment, and we are sure he will continue to be equally successful in his future studies and career!
