STUDENTS in Brunei are thriving and enjoying great success thanks to Micronet International College, a longstanding NCC Education Accredited Partner Centre.
More than 130 students successfully graduated earlier this month in front of proud family and friends and also special guest, the Minister of Education Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong. The crowd watched on at the Empire Hotel and Country Club, in Jerudong, as students received accolades for their hard work and completion of their NCC Education programmes, which included the International Diploma in Computer Studies (IDCS) and the International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies (IADCS).
The centre, which has been loyally working hard with NCC Education for 18 years, prides itself on producing high calibre students that are fully equipped for the ever-developing information technology industry. The centre tirelessly supports its students and improves its standards in order to provide the very best skilled workers for the country and the industry.
“The graduation was a huge success and we are very proud of our students for all their hard work,” said Sharon Chin, manager at Micronet International College. “We are always looking at ways we can improve our centre for the benefit of the students and we are very happy that our students invest their time in their education with us and progress to employment and a longstanding and successful career.” Also on the day 15 exceptional students received accolades for their outstanding performances during their studies and were presented with prestigious student awards. The successful NCC Education programmes at the centre fundamentally aim to prepare students for their successful careers in the field of information processing and provide pupils with the background that will enable them to take advantage of future technological advances in the computing field.
Micronet International College has been an NCC Education Accredited Partner Centre since 1993. For more information on the centre and the NCC Education programmes they run, please visit the Micronet International College website.
