Graduation Ceremony at LearnIT, Tanzania

Learnit, Tanzania, recently held a graduation ceremony for over 100 NCC Education diploma, advanced diploma and Business and IT degree students at Learnit Institute of Business and Technology. This Accredited Partner Centre began operating in Tanzania 15 years ago as a centre for providing ICT consultancy and training services, and 8 years ago partnered with NCC Education.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Marcelle du Rand, Manager, Business Development, Africa and the Caribbean, and also Mr Oliver Mhaiki, the Deputy Education and Vocational Training Permanent Secretary, Tanzania. His speech to students advised the, that “The use of ICT in teaching and learning as well as administration and management represents a powerful tool with which to achieve educational and national development objectives. The Government is therefore promoting the introduction and integration of ICT in basic education”.

More than 100 candidates received diplomas, advanced diplomas and degrees, whilst additionally, 5 students received NCC Education awards for outstanding academic performances.
