A RECENT visit to long-standing Accredited Partner Centre Jiujiang University was hailed a great success after the support provided by NCC Education for more than four years was highly praised.
NCC Education Academic Director Gareth Evans, along with Neil Christie, NCC Education Regional Director, East Asia and Sherry Zhou, Senior Business Development Manager, East Asia, visited the China-based university in May. The President of Jiujiang University Gan Xiao-Qing warmly welcomed the NCC Education team, along with the Dean of the International Exchange School Xia Xiu-Long and the director of the International Exchange Division Shuai Shi-Yi.
The president of Jiujiang University, which was first established as a nursing school more than a 100-years-ago, expressed his sincere appreciation for the effort and support that NCC Education has provided and spoke highly of the achievements made since the university became accredited in 2007.
“The visit was a great success and everyone at NCC Education is very proud of our successful working partnership with Jiujiang University,” said NCC Education Academic Director Gareth Evans. “It was a fantastic opportunity to witness firsthand the work of the university and our programmes being taught. We are proud of the partnership and we look forward to what the future holds.” Neil Christie, NCC Education Regional Director, East Asia added: “The work which goes on at Jiujiang University, the dedication of the teaching and the administration team and the enthusiasm of the students is fantastic. We can truly learn a lot from one another as our partnership goes forward.”

The visit was a great opportunity for university staff to also experience real UK teaching concepts and approaches during a training workshop led by NCC Education Director Gareth Evans. The workshop will benefit the university, which enjoyed more than 300 NCC Education student registrations over the past year. Currently Jiujiang University is accredited to run the International Foundation Year, International Diploma in Business, International Advanced Diploma in Business, International Diploma in Computer Studies and International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies.
