Micronet was established in 1989, and has become one of Brunei’s most sought after centres. Micronet is accredited to run three NCC Education programmes: International Certificate in Computer studies (ICCS), International Diploma in Computer Studies (IDCS) and International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies (IADCS). Micronet believe that it is not just important to deliver these programmes to the highest standard, but to also ensure students gain an insight into the practicalities of the IT industry – maximising their career opportunities.

Micronet feel it is important to ensure that not only are the programmes taught to the highest standard, but that the facilities support their learning. All the lecture rooms are air conditioned, the student library is well equipped with books, journals and reference materials, free internet access is also provided, and a PC training centre with computers and audio visual aides.

Micronet Students graduate with Flying Colours

Micronet International College held its 2010 graduation ceremony on Wednesday 5th May, where a total of 80 graduates received their graduation certificates. This year, 41 graduates from NCC Education International Diploma in Computer Studies and 39 graduates from NCC Education International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies attended the graduation ceremony.

The certificates were presented by the guest of honour, Hj Suhaila bin Hj Abd Karim, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Core Education) at the Ministry of Education.

Also present to witness the ceremony were Mr. Sylvester Yong, the Managing Director of Micronet, Ms Sharon Chin, the Principal of Micronet and MOE officials from various departments.

About 136 parents attended the memorable evening.
